A cacao ceremony is an afternoon or evening built around a cup of ceremonial cacao. We drink together, set an intention, and then I play: bowls, drum, voice and sometimes flute or guitar.
Cacao is gentle. It warms the chest and makes it easier to feel what is there. Many of these ceremonies fall on a full or new moon, or on an equinox or solstice, which gives the evening a theme.
Bring a cushion if you like to sit low, and eat lightly beforehand. If you take antidepressants or have a heart condition, let me know when booking and I will adjust the cacao.
