The Connected Voice Circle
Monday, 5th October
18:00-20:00 Amsterdam Oud-West

Reconnecting through Sound & Song

A 2-hour guided singing circle with Agata & Priscilla

Your voice doesn’t have to be perfect to be heard.

It doesn’t have to be trained, powerful or “beautiful”.
It simply has to be yours.

The Connected Voice Circle is an invitation to explore your voice in a safe, playful and supportive space — through intuitive singing, vocal exploration, simple voice-activating practices, guitar, sound and the shared energy of the group.

No singing experience is needed.
No performance is expected.
There is no right or wrong way to sound.

Just come as you are, and let your voice be part of the circle.

What happens when voices come together?

There is something unique about singing with other people.

A single voice can feel vulnerable. But when voices meet, something changes. You don’t have to carry the sound alone.

During this two-hour experience, we’ll gradually move from simple vocal exploration into collective singing and intuitive sound-making.

You may find yourself humming, exploring tones, following a melody, creating sounds you’ve never made before, or simply listening to the voices around you.

At times, the whole group will become the music.

And if you feel called, there will also be an opportunity to let your individual voice take a little more space — supported by the circle rather than placed in front of it.

You choose how much you participate.

You can sing loudly or softly.
You can follow or improvise.
You can sing with the group or simply listen for a while.

There is no pressure to perform.

A journey from sound to song

The session will unfold gradually, giving you time to arrive, connect with your body and become comfortable with your own sound.

Grounding & arrival

We’ll begin by slowing down and arriving in the space.

Through breath, gentle awareness and simple sound, we’ll create the foundation for what follows.

Opening the voice

We’ll explore the voice through accessible vocal exercises, humming, vibration, toning and playful sound-making.

These practices are not about learning to sing “correctly”.

They’re about becoming curious about what your voice naturally wants to do.

Intuitive singing

We’ll begin to move beyond exercises and into spontaneous singing.

You might follow a sound, a rhythm or a melody. You might discover a completely new sound. You might simply respond to what you hear.

We’ll guide you so you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

The collective voice

This is where the circle really begins to come alive.

We’ll layer voices, create simple patterns, explore call and response and allow the sound of the group to become something larger than any individual voice.

With Priscilla’s guitar and both of our voices guiding the experience, we’ll move between structured songs, intuitive singing and spontaneous sound.

Your voice, your way

For anyone who feels called, there will be moments where your individual voice can be heard more fully.

This might be a solo melody, a spontaneous sound, a few words, or simply allowing your voice to rise above the group for a moment.

This is always an invitation — never an expectation.

You are welcome to stay within the collective sound for the entire session.

Closing & integration

We’ll gradually bring the sound down and leave space to listen, feel and simply be with what has unfolded.

You don’t need to be a singer

This circle is for you if you’ve ever thought:

“I can’t sing.”

“I’m not sure what my voice sounds like.”

“I love singing, but I feel shy around other people.”

“I want to sing without worrying whether I’m doing it right.”

“I want to explore my voice in a different way.”

Or simply:

“I really feel like singing.”

You don’t need musical training.

You don’t need to be able to read music.

You don’t need to know how to harmonise.

And you definitely don’t need to have a “good” voice.

Curiosity is enough.

Two voices. One circle.

What makes this experience different is that you won’t be guided by one voice alone.

Agata and Priscilla bring two different relationships with sound, voice and music.

Together, we’ll weave vocal exploration, intuitive singing, guitar, sound and group connection into one shared experience.

Sometimes you’ll follow us.

Sometimes you’ll follow each other.

And sometimes there may be no one to follow at all.

Just listen.

Respond.

Explore.

Sing.

What you may experience

You may leave feeling:

  • more connected to your voice
  • more comfortable making sound
  • inspired to sing more freely
  • connected to the people around you
  • playful and creatively opened
  • grounded by the experience of collective sound

But there is no particular outcome you need to achieve.

You don’t have to release anything.
You don’t have to discover anything.
You don’t have to become anything.

You can simply come and sing.

Come as you are

Whether you’ve been singing your whole life or haven’t sung since childhood, you are welcome here.

This is not a singing lesson.

It is not a choir.

It is not a performance.

It is a space to explore what happens when we give ourselves permission to make sound — and when our voices are held by the voices of others.

Your voice is already enough to belong.
